Hi Troyce,
Nice vintage bike! Your bike was made by the Meade cycle company in Chicago. I couldn't find the exact one, but I there are numerous examples of "ranger" bicycles with coaster brakes: Texas Ranger Bike for Restore / preserve Texas Ranger Bike sold for $200 Various Texas Ranger Bikes Most of the texas ranger bikes I found that have sold previously were from the 1920's. I don't believe your bike is that old, but its still an excellent collectible. I would say it would fetch between $350-750 dollars. Here's one more link to check out: 1931-1940 Ranger bike that sold for $675 |

I can sort of relate to what you're tankilg about. I get weird feelings when I go into some second hand type places. For some reason I can either sense or imagine that some of the items I'm seeing must have been owned by someone who has passed away. |
