PLEASE HELPI am not a collector or anything of the sort. I am merely a relative seeking answers. My uncle passed a while ago and left me his knife that he said he acquired in the Vietnam War in battle. He said it's still stained with the blood of his enemies. I just wanted to know it was worth anything. Submit your estimate of worth |

Please Appraise these DollsSubmitted by: Laurel |
PLEASE HELPPlease Help! I have searched EVERYWHERE on the internet that I can think of to find other dolls like these, but to no avail! I showed these dolls to an antique dealer friend of mine and he gave me his best guess as to where these came from; and when. He thinks these were handmade dolls (since there are no markings on them of date of maker) from right after WWII. He thinks they were made by a mom or mom and kids in Occupied Germany to sell to the servicemen to make money to for food. I have 3 dolls (as you will see in the pictures). They appear to be a mother doll, daughter doll and a son doll. They all have read hats, have a sort of twine body (you will see from the pictures of the arms and legs), and heavy steel shoes. Their faces are aged and a bit dirty (the boy's face is the most soiled). They are also very small (from head to toe - not counting her hat, the mother doll is approx. 3 1/2 inches tall and about an inch wide). Any idea on the real origin/timeframe and selling price on these dolls? Thank you so much! Submit your estimate of worth |

PLEASE HELPI inherited this gorgeous antique chandelier. it is approx. 3 foot tall, it has a gold gilded or gold leave iron frame, wood candle holders, some brass or bronze, glass and hundreds upon hundreds of hand cut beaded crystals. beautiful aged patina. it has a crown design. it was purchased from a famous Las vegas casino in 1969 for $6,900. I believe my Aunt added the amber crystals at a later date. It was her most cherished possesion. I have many hours of searches online, and have never seen one like it. I was told it was one of two in existance, its twin was owned by the actor glenn ford. I cannot find any kind of makers marks. I would like to now its history and value. Is it possibly a Perry & co or Parker? it has the thumb print on the pressed bobeche. I would consider selling it, If the value is high enough to let it go. thanks for your time!
